Both the 'Delicate' singer and the 'Hello' hitmaker become the only artists to have three biggest albums of the year.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift truly has an eventful year. Her latest album "Reputation" and its supporting tour broke multiple records, and now the chart-topping record has officially been named the biggest album of the year by Billboard.

"Reputation" took full advantage of the 2018 chart year, debuting at No. 1 on the weekly Billboard 200 dated December 2, 2017 (the first week of the chart year). The record then spent four weeks atop the chart and lingered in the top 40 for its 48 weeks. This marks the third time the former country singer ruled the chart. She previously did so with "1989" (2015) and "Fearless" (2019).

With that, Taylor has become the second artist who has the most biggest albums of the year. She tied the record with Adele, who did it in 2015 with her album "25" and in both 2011 and 2012 with her album "21".

Trailing behind the "Look What You Made Me Do" singer was Drake's "Scorpion". The record-breaking album bowed at No. 1 on Billboard 200 on July 14 and spent its first five weeks atop the list. Even though the album is no longer ruling the weekly chart, it still spends weeks after week within the top ten until now.

Elsewhere in the chart, Post Malone set new record as two of his albums, "Beerbongs & Bentleys" and "Stoney", ranked at No. 3 and No. 8 respectively. He became the first act to have two of his albums making it to the top ten of the chart since Justin Bieber and Taylor did so in 2010. Other albums which made it to the top five were "The Greatest Showman" soundtrack album and Ed Sheeran's "Divide (division sign)".

Cardi B's debut album "Invasion of Privacy" took the sixth spot, as Travis Scott (II)'s "Astroworld" was placed seventh. Rounding out the top ten were XXXTENTACION's "?" at No. 9 and Migos' "Culture II" at No. 10.
