AceShowbiz - Country star Kelsea Ballerini has lashed out at an online troll who told her to lose some weight after spotting footage of her performing at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in New York on Thursday, November 08.
The critic thought the singer looked a little bigger than usual during the performance and shared the mean observation on social media, prompting feisty Kelsea to fire back.
"Hi troll. listen. first of all, I'm not a model I'm a singer," the 25 year old wrote on social media on Friday, November 09. "Second of all, I'm not responding to this to give you attention because you don't deserve that, I'm responding because I am a healthy, normal chick, which I pride myself on and work hard for, and want other young girls to see that and know that 'skinny' is not always the goal."
"And for you to think it's okay to comment on my weight or size is disgusting. I'm going to get a burger now. Bye."
Ballerini captioned the post, "Not today Satan,"
The singer, who performed at the Fashion Show alongside The Chainsmokers, Halsey, Shawn Mendes, and Rita Ora, among others, was applauded for standing up to the Internet bully by actress Reese Witherspoon, who wrote: "Yes ma'am!!" in response to Kelsea's clap back.
