Rumor has it, the former couple's inner circles are 'relieved' that they called off their months-long engagement.

AceShowbiz - It appears fans aren't the only ones who are actually happy that Ariana Grande called off her engagement to Pete Davidson. Rumor has it, the former couple's friends and family are "relieved" to learn that their relationship is over.

"She threw into the relationship with Pete. She is young, but at least mature enough to realize this wasn't the right relationship or the right time to get married," a source tells PEOPLE. "[Her loved ones] always thought the engagement to Pete happened way too quickly. They didn't want her to get married to Pete. And Ariana never got to the wedding planning stage. It was all way too soon."

Her family allegedly believes that she should just focus on her job instead of relationship, considering she has gone through a lot in the past couple of years. They think she "really isn't in a position to make huge life decisions," according to the source, who adds that "everyone on both sides are relieved it's over."

Pete reportedly has moved out of their shared apartment in New York, but both of them are still keeping in touch. "Ariana is doing pretty well. Actually much better than expected," the source goes on saying.

Both Ariana and Pete have been busy with their respective jobs after news of their split broke earlier this month. Recently, the "Saturday Night Live" star was spotted out and about in Los Angeles for a friendly outing with Machine Gun Kelly. The two men enjoyed dinner at celebrity hot spot Nobu.

Pete appeared to be in high spirit when he was captured on camera talking to his rapper friend. He was casually clad in a Supreme bomber jacket and Off-White Converse, while the "Rap Devil" hitmaker wore a plaid bomber jack and black high top sneakers.
