In addition to The Monitor, fans are given a better look at Superman (Tyler Hoechlin)'s black suit.

AceShowbiz - A new batch of set photos from upcoming Arrowverse crossover event, titled "Elseworlds", has found its way out online. This time, fans are offered the first unofficial look at LaMonica Garrett's take on The Monitor.

Coming via Canadagraphs, the photos give fans an idea how the character would look like in the 3-night TV event that features The Flash, Supergirl and Arrow. Although it's kind of blurry, fans can easily recognize that it's The Monitor thanks to its uncanny resemblance to its comic book counterpart.

The CW's version of The Monitor features incredibly specific hair style and mutton chops as well as bulky armor, just like the comic's version. Fans definitely love it with many praising Garrett's portrayal of the favorite character.

"The Monitor looks PERFECT as well.. like this could end up being my favorite event of all time on TV... I hope we visit more than one Earth.. OR could we get a situation like the Crisis event where the Monitor gathers several versions of heroes and puts them on one Earth??" one fan raved. "First behind the scenes look at the monitor from the 3 night CW crossover and it is pretty comic accurate! Looks cool! #DoYouEvenComicBook," another comment read.

So far, fans are kept in the dark about the plot of "Elseworlds", let alone the role of The Monitor. Also known as Mar Novu, The Monitor is described as "an extraterrestrial being of infinite power." The character was created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez for the "Crisis on Infinite Earths" event, which celebrated DC Comics' 50th anniversary.

He is as old as the universe and was born alongside his twin, the powerful and destructive Anti-Monitor.

In addition to The Monitor, fans were given a better look at Superman's black suit. Coming from YVRShoots, a slew of photos featured Tyler Hoechlin donning the infamous dark armor.

The photos saw him filming a scene solo as no other characters were seen joining him on the show's Surrey City Hall set.

Hoechlin's Kent will also sport his iconic blue-and-red Superman suit. One set photo featured him lying on a Central City cab.

It's has been widely assumed by fans that "Elseworlds" will bring fans to an alternate universe as set photos have been indicating that Stephen Amell's Oliver and Grant Gustin's Barry somehow switch their identities. In the comics, Elseworlds was a DC Comics imprint for stories that take place outside of regular continuity. However, it remains to be seen how the crossover is going to pay homage to its name.

Also joining the crossover are Batwoman (Ruby Rose), Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch), a doctor at Arkham Asylum named Dr. John Deegan (Jeremy Davie) and Nora Fries (Cassandra Jean Amell). John Wesley Shipp, who played the Scarlet Speedster on the 90s series, is also set to make appearance.

This year's crossover is set to begin on Sunday, December 9 with "The Flash" at 8 P.M. It will later be followed by an "Arrow" episode on Monday, December 10 at 8 P.M. "Supergirl" will conclude on the following night at 8 P.M. on The CW.
