If the original 'Miami Vice' star signs on for the murder mystery movie, he will join the cast ensemble that includes Chris Evans, Ana de Armas and Michael Shannon.
"Miami Vice" star Don Johnson is circling a deal to join Daniel Craig and Chris Evans in murder mystery "Knives Out".
The actor will join "Blade Runner 2049"'s Ana de Armas, Michael Shannon, and Keith Stanfield, among the supporting cast for the movie if he signs on.
Production is set to begin next month (November 2018).
Meanwhile, Johnson has also landed a role in Damon Lindelof's star-studded new "Watchmen" TV series. That project will also feature Oscar winner Jeremy Irons, Regina King, Tim Blake Nelson, and Louis Gossett, Jr.
