The "Brooklyn" star wore a period costume which consisted of a gray blazer, jumper, checked skirt and a striped red scarf. She carried a brown handbag while her wavy blonde hair was styled in a messy bun. She was seen walking out of a building, from which her co-star Louis Garrel also emerged.

The French actor, who is best known for his starring role in Bernardo Bertolucci's "The Dreamers", portrays Jo's husband, German professor Friedrich Bhaer, in the upcoming movie. Sporting thin mustache, he was clad in a white shirt, brown suit and black coat.

Earlier this month, Emma Watson was spotted on the set in in the Back Bay, Boston. The British actress portrays Meg March, the eldest sister. The role was originally intended for Emma Stone, but she was unable to commit to the project because she's working on another film.

Based on Louisa May Alcott's 1868 novel of the same title, the story revolves around four female siblings Meg, Beth, Jo and Amy March during American Civil War. With their father away fighting in the war, the girls struggle with major and minor problems under the guidance of their strong-willed mother, affectionately called Marmee.

Academy Award nominee Greta Gerwig is directing with the script that she wrote herself. Amy Pascal is serving as producer along with Denise Di Novi and Robin Swicord. It is scheduled for a December 25, 2019 release in the United States.
