AceShowbiz - "Who dat?" one surprised fan writing on the comment section on Spice's recent Instagram post. The "Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta" star took to the micro-blogging site on October 22, hinting at "a fresh start" with her new look which apparently earned her a massive backlash instead of praises.
The 36-year-old reality TV star sparked speculation that she bleached her skin as the photo featured her having much lighter skin than usual. "Nothing wrong with a fresh start," she wrote in the caption. Spice shared the photo as a teaser for her new mixtape, "Captured".
Fans were obviously not a fan of her possibly bleaching her skin. "Who dat? Please tell me that's not spice???" a fan commented as s/he failed to recognize her in the snap. "If you really did bleach your skin you definitely played yourself smh," another fan added.

"Please tell me this isn't real," one other fan said, refusing to believe that it was her. "Why would you do this. s**t sad as f**k," another fan snapped.
Later, Spice appeared Instagram Live. A fan asked her why her skin was lighter, but she successfully dodged the question and went on promoting her new mixtape "Captured" instead.

However, some others were leaving some supportive messages for Spice, assuring her that she got her/his back. "I hate society and how they make our people feel like they have to do stuff like this. Spice I love you regardless! Don't let society do this to u," the fan wrote, before adding, "(hope it's not real)."
