Taking about one of the worst interviews she ever had, the mother of two divulges that when promoting 'Inside Llewyn Davis', a reporter asked her if she had ever considered having an abortion.

AceShowbiz - Carey Mulligan was horrified when a reporter asked her if she's ever considered having an abortion.

The mother-of-two has opened up about her worst interviews in a new chat with Vulture and admits she walked out on one reporter who left her stunned with a deeply personal question.

"(The reporter said), 'Your character in Inside Llewyn Davis has an abortion. Would you ever have an abortion?' " she recalls. "I think I literally went, 'Are you f**king kidding me?' and then moved on."

Carey refused to reveal whether or not the reporter was a guy, but went on to explain she's often asked questions she's convinced her male co-stars aren't quizzed about at red carpet premieres, parties and junkets.

"I remember when I first had my daughter, people being like, 'How has motherhood changed your (career)?' - and I was like, 'Do you ask that regularly to fathers? I think not,' " the 33 year old adds.

The "Suffragette" star, who shares her two kids with her husband, Mumford & Sons frontman Marcus Mumford, recently revealed she used to have an awful time at premieres, because she never felt comfortable on the red carpet.

"When I was younger, I was riddled with insecurity," she told The Sunday Times' Style magazine. "Red carpets made me feel like crying. I was scared of wearing the big, expensive dresses - it felt like a model's job and I didn't know what role I was meant to play."
