Dubbed 'Domination', the new Las Vegas residency is slated to begin in February next year at the Park Theater at Park MGM Resort.

AceShowbiz - Earlier this month, Britney Spears teased on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that she had something big up her sleeves. It turns out that the blonde beauty will be coming back to Las Vegas for a whole new residency.

The announcement was made through a live stream which was broadcast on Ellen DeGeneres' YouTube channel. Britney hit the stage at a parade at the Toshiba Plaza in Sin City to reveal the big news, strutting her way down in a skin-tight, long-sleeve black dress as "Toxic" and "Baby One More Time" played in the background.

Dubbed "Domination", the new Las Vegas residency is slated to begin in February next year at the Park Theater at Park MGM Resort, the same venue where Lady GaGa, Cher, Bruno Mars and Aerosmith will be performing their respective shows. Tickets will be made available to general public starting from October 26 at 10 A.M. PT.

A source previously suggested that Britney would be raking in over $500,000 per show, making her the highest paid performer in the city. Celine Dion previously held the title. "The deal that her team put together has a huge base salary and also gives her a percentage of ticket sales, merchandise and other things," the source said. "Britney has proven she can continuously sell out her shows after years in Vegas, and Britney's team used that achievement as a bargaining tool for her new contract."

Britney ended her hugely successful "Piece of Me" residency at the AXIS at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on New Year's Eve last year after a four-year run. Some of the performances from her final show were aired on "New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest". The show reportedly made $137.7 million dollars based on a total of 914,184 sold seats.
