Some may expect that the list is dominated by teen stars, but K-Pop is powerful enough to turn a 40-something star into a shy fanboy.

AceShowbiz - Popular singer Lorde is also a K-Pop fan. "Personally, I really like K-Pop groups," she said in an interview with Universal Music.

A singer-songwriter herself, Lorde admitted that she's drawn to K-Pop by its unique sound. "It is because their melodies and songs are very interesting. Their melodies are a lot more charming than the Western pop which I grew up listening to. If it is pop music, it should be to that extent," she explained.

The "Royals" hitmaker also said that she's not only interested by the music, but also the dance. "I think I need to receive a dancing lesson from Girls' Generation," she quipped.

The New Zealand singer went on fangirling over "The Boys" singer on Instagram as she indirectly greeted the group when they were all in Japan. "hi gg nice to see you ok bye now (love you)," she said while encountering a huge billboard promoting Girls' Generation's greatest hit compilation album, "The Best".
