AceShowbiz - Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra has flied to another country after celebrating the former's birthday together on a ranch in Oklahoma. The newly-engaged couple jetted off to Italy this week to attend her friends Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal's engagement party at Lake Como.
For the ceremony, both opted for traditional Indian ensembles. While the "Jealous" singer looked dapper in a black sherwani and a pastel kurta, the "Quantico" actress looked absolutely stunning in a netted beige sari with silver detailing. Her dark locks were in soft curls as she donned light eye shadow and a dark red lipstick. She complemented her look with a few of jewelries.
Designer of the attire, Manis Malhotra, shared a picture of him with the lovebirds during the bash. The three posed with lakeside as their backdrop, and Manis had his hand around Priyanka. They all looked straight to the camera. The photo was shortly deleted afterward, though.
Manis also took to Instagram Stories to further show off Priyanka's gorgeous gown. "Love her smile (heart emoji)," he wrote on a clip which showed Priyanka shyly smiling as the camera zoomed to her and her gown. Still being bashful, she then turned around to show the backside of her gown.
Nick and Priyanka confirmed their engagement rumors back in August, when they held an engagement bash in India. Earlier this month, the youngest Jonas brother opened up about the ceremony during his appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon".
"We did this beautiful Roka ceremony. It's a confirmation from both sides of the family that they approve of the engagement," he told host Jimmy Fallon. "There's some beautiful prayers and a connection just for the family to have a chance to meet and hang out. It's really incredible."
He continued, "We both left that ceremony so full of joy. For she and I, I think it was just nice to have that time with the family first. Have that private moment then be able to share with the world afterwards."
