The Jonas Brothers drummer leaves his fans disappointed while others are ready to cancel him after the singer/actor engages in a friendly exchange with the Tesla owner.

AceShowbiz - Jonas Brothers fans are left in shambles following Nick Jonas' recent social media post. The singer/actor has enraged his devotees after he engaged in a lighthearted exchange on X, formerly known as Twitter, with Elon Musk.

On Tuesday, December 17, Elon shared a post in response to an article from Tesla Owners Silicon Valley, which claimed that Tesla's profits are "up 100 percent" since President-elect Donald Trump won the November election. Elon, the Tesla owner, responded to the post with a famous GIF of the Jonas Brothers spinning around a small wooden coffee table. "My, how the tables have turned!" the billionaire, who has publicly supported Donald Trump, wrote with the GIF, which featured Jonas and his famous brothers Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas.

Several hours later, Nick quote tweeted Elon's post with a nod to the Jonas Brothers' iconic 2006 cover of the song "Year 3000". Alongside a photo of the SpaceX founder, he wrote, "Take us to the Year 3000."

Nick's tweet took fans aback as many of his fans took to social media to express their disappointment at his apparent support for Elon. "I DID NOT HAVE A CRUSH ON NICK JONAS FOR THIS TO HAPPEN OH MY GOD," a shocked fan wrote on X. Another exclaimed, "guys nooooo! my life is in shambles. not Nick Jonas laughing with the bigots."

An upset fan penned, "And just like that ...You ruined everything AGAIN Nicholas." A fourth user commented, "nick jonas being a muskrat feels like betrayal." A fifth person simply wrote, "Eww," while another replied to Nick's tweet with, "Embarassing."

" 'Year 3000' isn't even your song," someone remarked, noting that it's actually a cover from the British pop rock band Busted. "Also, delete," they added. Another person said, "Adios Nick Jonas," while one other canceled him as saying, "Well i guess i hate Nick Jonas now."

"Thank god I've never been a Nick girl," someone weighed in, as another user chimed in, "Nick Jonas coming out as a trumpie why am I not surprised."

Someone else, however, has come to Nick's defense, arguing that his tweet didn't necessarily reflect his political view. "I don't assume that Nick Jonas is a Republican from his tweet. He supported Joe Biden in 2020 and protested an anti-trans bathroom bill in South Carolina," they claimed. "I think because Elon Musk used a GIF with Jonas Brothers, Nick referred to his technology for nostalgia without thinking."
