Before the model confirms she is indeed expecting her first child with boyfriend Zayn Malik, her mother Yolanda shares in another interview her excitement to become a grandmother in September.

AceShowbiz - Gigi Hadid has broken her silence about her rumored pregnancy. Days after reports of her expecting first child with boyfriend Zayn Malik came out, the 25-year-old model confirmed the happy news herself and shared her thought on the positive side of the coronavirus lockdown to her current situation.

Making an appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon", the older sister of Bella Hadid was congratulated by host Jimmy Fallon for her pregnancy. As a response, she beamingly stated, "Obviously, we wish we could have announced it on our own terms. We're very excited and happy and grateful for everyone's well wishes and support."

When advised to be present throughout the whole process of her pregnancy, the former Victoria's Secret model admitted, "I'm trying." Referring to the global crisis caused by COVID-19, she added, "Especially during this time, it's a nice silver lining to be home and be together, and really experience it day by day."

Speaking of pregnancy cravings, Gigi spilled on the surprise she got for her 25th birthday. "In the morning my family brought out an everything bagel cake, which already blew my mind. My craving has been everything bagels," she claimed. "I eat an everything bagel a day. I was already so excited that my birthday cake was an everything bagel."

"Then I found out that Buddy [Valastro], the 'Cake Boss,' made my cake," she continued sharing details. "I don't know if it was my hormones right now or just, like, quarantine emotional-ness, but I cried every five minutes for an hour every time I thought about that Buddy made my cake."

Before Gigi came out to confirm her pregnancy herself, her mother Yolanda Hadid has talked about it in another interview. Though admitting she was "still shocked" over her daughter's news, "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" alum expressed her excitement to be a first-time grandmother in near future.

During an interview with Dutch broadcasting station RTL Boulevard, the ex-wife of David Foster said, "I'm excited to become a grandmother in September especially after I lost my mom so recently." She added, "But this is the beauty of life, one soul leaves us and a new one comes in. We feel very blessed."
