AceShowbiz - Actor Alan O'Neill died of chronic alcohol overconsumption, according to a coroner's report.

The 47-year-old, who appeared as Hugh in seasons six and seven of TV series "Sons of Anarchy", was found unresponsive by his girlfriend at his Los Angeles apartment in June.

On Friday, July 27, the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office confirmed the actor died of chronic alcohol overconsumption, and other significant factors in his death included blunt force head trauma and heart disease.

An official from the coroner's office told TMZ.com that O'Neill had fallen at home while drunk.

His death has been ruled an accident.
