'One in a Million' wont be included on the album due to its controversial lyrics, which include, 'Immigrants and f*****s, they make no sense to me.'

AceShowbiz - Guns N' Roses has removed a song with homophobic and racist language from a re-issued album. The rock group's 1987 debut studio album "Appetite for Destruction" will be re-released next month as part of a 73-track deluxe box set of their early work, including their hit tunes such as "Welcome to the Jungle" and "Sweet Child O' Mine".

But it appears that the song "One in a Million", from the 1988 follow-up record G N' R Lies, won't be included, most likely due to the song's controversial language. Lyrics include, "Police and n**gers, that's right / Get outta my way / Don't need to buy none of your / Gold chains today," and, "Immigrants and f****ts / They make no sense to me / They come to our country / And think they'll do as they please."

Representatives and current members of the band, including frontman Axl Rose, have not commented on the removal of the song.

Speaking about "One in a Million" in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine in 1989, Rose defended the song, and stated, "Why can black people go up to each other and say, 'n****r,' but when a white guy does it all of a sudden it's a big putdown? I don't like boundaries of any kind. I don't like being told what I can and what I can't say. I used the word n****r because it's a word to describe somebody that is basically a pain in your life, a problem."

Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash later stated that he didn't condone the lyrics, but didn't go as far as condemning his bandmate. "When Axl first came up with the song and really wanted to do it, I said I didn't think it was very cool," he said in a 1991 chat with Rolling Stone. "I don't regret doing 'One in a Million', I just regret what we've been through because of it and the way people have perceived our personal feelings."

The "Appetite For Destruction" Locked N' Loaded Edition box set will be priced at $999 and available to buy from June 29.
