AceShowbiz - The second day of the Tecate Pa'l Norte 2026 festival in Monterrey, Mexico, delivered an electrifying mix of classic rock, alternative sounds, and Latin music on Saturday, March 28. The highlight was the stunning world tour kickoff by Guns N' Roses, who debuted two new singles live for the first time, alongside remarkable performances by Grupo Frontera and Turnstile.

Guns N' Roses opened their set with the iconic 1987 hit "Welcome to the Jungle," thrilling fans with a blend of classics and new material. The band's live introduction of "Nothin'" and "Atlas," tracks originally from their 2008 album Chinese Democracy, marked a significant moment for attendees. Frontman Axl Rose warmly greeted the crowd, saying, “It’s good to see you.” Their setlist also featured fan favorites like "Mr. Brownstone," "Bad Obsession," and a cover of Paul McCartney & Wings' "Live and Let Die," among others.

Meanwhile, Grupo Frontera kicked off their Triste Pero Bien C*brón Tour in spectacular fashion during the festival, setting the stage for upcoming appearances across Latin America and Europe. Their energetic performance further enhanced the day's diverse musical offerings.

Other standout acts on day two included Turnstile, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Kygo, Simple Plan, The Warning, Enjambre, Cypress Hill, Elena Rose, Lasso, Judeline, Luck Ra, and El Bogueto. All contributed to a varied lineup that captivated festival-goers at Parque Fundidora, located near the U.S. border.

Surprises were also in store for the audience. Legendary singer Mijares appeared unexpectedly to perform his beloved classic "Soldado del Amor." Additionally, Paty Cantú made a special guest appearance, showcasing a rock-influenced side alongside the powerful trio The Warning. A unique collaboration took place on the Entre Cheves y Compas stage, where singer-songwriter Paloma Morphy teamed up with emerging huapango folk-rock artist Macario Martínez, delighting the crowd with their combined talents.

The excitement continues on Sunday, March 29, with headliners The Killers set to take the stage, supported by performances from Zoé, Halsey, Panteón Rococó, Omar Courtz, Cardenales de Nuevo León, Marky Ramone, Rusowsky, and Yami Safdie, among others.
