AceShowbiz - "Ocean's 8" cast looked like they were ready for the Met Gala when attending CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Nevada. The stars of the all-female heist movie, including Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway, Sarah Paulson, Cate Blanchett, Mindy Kaling and Awkwafina, were all dressed up from head to toe when they showed up at the convention on Tuesday, April 24 to promote their upcoming film.
Bullock, who plays Danny Ocean's (George Clooney) sister Debbie Ocean, stunned in a metallic print wrap dress by Johanna Ortiz, which featured a plunging neckline and a black bow that accentuated her waist. She paired it with sleek black pants. Paulson literally shone in a gold-sequined Alberta Ferretti top and skirt paired with matching gold stilettos.
Blanchett was stylish in a cream-colored Gucci suit with black accents. She accessorized with some big rings and necklaces. Hathaway kept it feminine with a sleeveless embellished Bottega Veneta gown. She let her long brunette locks down.
Kaling opted for a classic look in a black-and-white striped Stella McCartney dress, paired with black pumps. Meanwhile, Awkwafina donned a striped blazer and pants from Topshop on top of a simple white tank. She completed her casual look with black heels.
Noticeably absent from the pack were Rihanna and Helena Bonham Carter.
"Ocean's 8" follows newly released Debbie Ocean (Bullock) as she attempts to pull off the heist of the century at New York City's star-studded annual Met Gala. Her first stop is to assemble the perfect crew: Lou (Blanchett), Nine Ball (Rihanna), Amita (Kaling), Constance (Awkwafina), Rose (Carter), Daphne Kluger (Hathaway) and Tammy (Paulson).
As the movie is majorly set during the star-studded gala, there will be a lot of cameos from A-listers, such as Anna Wintour, Kim Kardashian, Maria Sharapova, Kendall Jenner, Katie Holmes, Olivia Munn, Adriana Lima, Hailey Baldwin, Serena Williams and Kylie Jenner.
Matt Damon and Carl Reiner will reprise their roles as Linus Caldwell and Saul Bloom, respectively, from the "Ocean's" trilogy in cameo roles, while Dakota Fanning has an undisclosed role.
Four-time Academy Award-nominated director Gary Ross ("The Hunger Games") is directing "Ocean's 8" with the script provided by Olivia Milch. Steven Soderbergh, who directed the original "Ocean's" trilogy, is involved as executive producer.
The heist movie is scheduled to be released in the U.S. on June 8.
