The 'Let Me' singer seems to be in good spirits as he briefly chats with a doorman before entering the model's apartment in New York.

AceShowbiz - Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid may be giving their two-year relationship another go. After splitting up last month, the British singer was spotted heading into his model ex-girlfriend's apartment in New York on Wednesday, April 18.
He seemed to be in good spirits during the outing as he briefly chatted with a doorman before entering the apartment. The singer was keeping a low profile as he sported a color-coordinated hoodie which he teamed with a pair of round glasses and black joggers.
Interestingly enough, the outing came just one week after Zayn indirectly revealed that Gigi was the inspiration behind his song "Let Me". He said that he wrote the song "about seven or eight months ago," when he was still dating the model.
"I was in love and I think that's pretty evident. I was aspiring to be in love with someone for the rest of my life and the rest of theirs, as we all do," he said in an interview with Ryan Seacrest. "Things change and we move forward in life. Times change, but that's what I was thinking when I wrote it."
The former One Direction member continued, "We go through experiences so we have memories and stories and things to write down and contemplate and think about. You get to really put your experience into something. It should be remembered forever."
Zayn and Gigi announced that they called it quits on March 13, sharing their own statements through Twitter. "I'm grateful to all of our fans for respecting this difficult decision and our privacy at this time, we wish this news could have come from us first," he wrote, while Gigi noted, "I want nothing but the best for him and will continue to support him as a friend that I have immense respect and love for."
