Another mother was injured and her son was also killed in a tragic accident involving the Tony Award-winning actress and her 4-year-old daughter, Abigail.

AceShowbiz - Tony Award-winning actress Ruthie Ann Miles is in a great grief. She was injured in a car crash on Monday, March 5 in Brooklyn and, at the same time, she lost her 4-year-old daughter. The accident also caused the death of a little boy and injury to his mother who walked along with Ruthie and her daughter.

The tragedy occurred when the pregnant actress and her daughter, Abigail, along with Lauren Lew and her 1-year-old son, Josh, were leaving a church. A speeding car ran a red light and struck them near the intersection of Ninth Street and Fifth Avenue. The driver was reportedly suffering a seizure and did not attempt to flee. The accident resulted in the death of those two kids. Meanwhile, the two mothers were hospitalized. Ruthie is recovering at a Brooklyn hospital as of Tuesday, March 6 and her unborn child reportedly survived.

Cops said that the driver, Dorothy Bruns, crashed into several cars and was stopped by witnesses. NYPD suspended her license and said that the driver could face manslaughter charges due to the Monday afternoon horrific tragedy. Cops and the Brooklyn District Attorney will review her medical history. Authorities will also need to prove that Dorothy was driving the car against doctor's order.

A former neighbor confirmed that Dorothy was struggling with serious health problems. This includes multiple sclerosis which can increase the chances of her suffering from seizures. "I don't think she should have been driving, the way she looked," her neighbor, Mark Torres, who lived on a different floor in the same house, said. A police source indicated that Dorothy might have a medical episode before the fatal crash.
