Your first look at Jim Parsons in Ted Bundy biopic is here! "The Big Bang Theory" star, who portrays Larry Simpson, the lead prosecutor in 1979 Miami trial that finally convicted Ted, has taken to his Instagram account to share a photo of him on the set of the upcoming biographical thriller.

Shared on Friday, February 23, the snap showed Jim, dressing up as prosecutor Larry, standing in a court room next to Zac Efron, who plays the infamous rapist and serial killer in the biopic called "Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile".

The two looked tense as they filmed what seemed to be a scene featuring them in the middle of an argument. Jim wrote in the caption of the snap, "arguing with Ted Bundy (aka @zacefron ) in some period garb."

Zac also took to his own account to share a photo of them from the filming of the same scene. "What's wrong @therealjimparsons? You don't like the bow tie?" so the "Baywatch" star jokingly captioned the snap which showed Jim glaring at him.

The 30-year-old buffed actor has been sharing on the social media several snaps from the upcoming film in recent weeks, including one which showed him filming a prison scene where his character Ted got a visit from Kaya Scodelario's character, the rapist's mysterious ex-wife Carol Anne Boone.

Directed by "Paradise Lost" director Joe Berlinger, "Extremely Wicked" tells the story of Ted's crimes from the perspective of his longtime girlfriend, Elizabeth Khloepfer (played by Lily Collins), who went years denying the accusations against Ted, but ultimately turned him in to the police.

No release date is set just yet for the film, which Joe is directing from a script written by Michael Werwie. John Malkovich joins the cast as Judge Edward Cowart, who presided over Ted's highly televised murder trial in 1979 and sentenced him to death.

Other supporting cast members include Angela Sarafyan as Joanna, Jeffrey Donovan as John O'Connell, Grace Victoria Cox as Carol Daronch, Haley Joel Osment as Jerry, Terry Kinney as Detective Mike Fisher and Dylan Baker as David Yokum.
