Bristol Palin and Dakota Meyer have gone their separate ways. Meyer has filed for divorce from the 27-year-old public speaker after almost two years of marriage, according to Daily Mail. The publication reported that the U.S. Marine vet filed paperwork two weeks ago.
A source knowledgeable of the situation revealed to TMZ that the pair are no longer living together, as Meyer moved out of their home in Austin, Texas around Christmas. Dakota and Bristol are also no longer following each other on Instagram, with Dakota blocking Bristol on the photo-sharing platform.
Reps for both Bristol and Dakota have yet to respond to the divorce rumors.
Dakota and Bristol first met while filming Sarah Palin's show "Amazing America" in 2014. The couple announced their engagement in March 2015, but called off their wedding just two months later. Sarah was the one who broke the news, saying on Facebook, "They have informed loved ones that unfortunately the announced celebration planned for May 23 will not be held."
However, after the birth of their daughter, Sailor, the couple got back together and tied the knot in June 2016. "Life is full of ups and downs but in the end, you'll end up where you're supposed to be," they told Entertainment Tonight. "We are so happy to share with loved ones the wonderful news that we got married!"
They continued, "Hard work and God's grace are the foundation of our new life together, and with the love and support of our family we know we can get through anything." Bristol gave birth to their second daughter, Atlee Bay, in May 2017.
Prior to getting married to Dakota, Bristol was romantically linked to Levi Johnston. The former couple got engaged in 2008 and broke up a year later, less than three months after the birth of their first child, Tripp.
