AceShowbiz - Netflix has dropped the first full trailer of the much-anticipated "Marvel's Jessica Jones" season 2. The action-packed trailer sees the heroine exploring her mysterious past.
The first part of the trailer features a glimpse of bloody site of a car crash before the scene changes to show drunk Jessica (%cKrysten Ritter%), who crushes her third glass. "Did you drink to remember or forget?" asks the bartender, to which the alcohol-fueled heroine coldly replies, "Giving a s**t won't get you a better tip."
"My whole family was killed in a car accident, someone did horrific experiments on me, I know this super vigilante s**t keeps coming at me," Jessica says. "I have 17 years of questions and they are deep."
Patsy Walker (%cRachael Taylor%) later tells Jessica, "Jess, knowing what was done to you might help you." Jessica seemingly agrees with Patsy's remark as she can be heard saying, "The only way to find it is to open the door wider."
The trailer also offers a glimpse of %cJanet McTeer%'s mystery character. "You were brought back from the death. The powers were side-effect," she explains to Jessica. The trailer intriguingly ends with someone clapping while Jessica wonders what happened to her in the past. Judging from her expression, the owner of the hands may be someone who fans won't welcome to.
Alongside the cool trailer, the streaming giant treats fans to a new poster of the sophomore season of the Marvel series. Coming via Vulture, the poster sees Jessica sitting on the floor while leaning her back on a wooden table. "No Filter" is written on the poster.
The second season of "Marvel's Jessica Jones" reportedly will heavily focus on what happened to Jessica prior to her days as a hero. As Trish says in the trailer that Jessica may need a sidekick, it is assumed that she will take on her Hellcat persona in the upcoming season.
"Marvel's Jessica Jones" will return for season 2 on March 8 on Netflix.
