Before her baby was born, the 'Keeping Up with the Kardahians' star worried she 'might struggle to bond with the baby having not gone through the pregnancy herself.'

AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West welcomed their third child, a baby girl named Chicago, via surrogate on January 15. It turns out before the baby arrived, the 37-year-old socialite/reality TV star was "terrified" she could not instantly bond with the baby after someone else gave birth to her.
"Kim had worried that she might struggle to bond with the baby having not gone through the pregnancy herself," a source close to the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star shared with HollywoodLife.com. "But, thankfully, she was totally wrong, and the second Kim laid eyes on Chicago her heart just totally melted," the source continued.
"Kim's amazed at how much more energy she has this time round compared to previously," the insider explained. "It's shocking just how much of a toll pregnancy took on Kim's body. It's definitely a plus to be able to focus all of her time and energy on being a mom, without having to worry about resting up and healing physically."
The source also shared that Kim's so happy that she and Kanye were able to expand their family. "Chicago has only been in the world for a few days, but Kim already can't remember what life was like before," the source said.
The Hollywood power couple is already proud parents to four-year-old daughter North and two-year-old son Saint. While North has been known to have jealousy issues with her cute brother since he arrived into the family, the new-baby transition has reportedly been going very well for the entire family.
"Kim wants to make sure North and Saint have a lot of extra attention and feel included as well," a source close to the new parents of three told PEOPLE last week. "It's a big deal for everyone to have a newborn in the family." The source added, "Kim and Kanye are at home with the baby. They are so happy. They have had some visitors, but mostly [Kris Jenner] and Kourtney Kardashian are helping out."
