Kailyn Lowry Cancels Breast Augmentation Procedure at the Last Minute

The 'Teen Mom 2' star reveals that she will use the money to hire a nutritionist and begin working out again instead.
After traveling to Miami with the intention of undergoing multiple plastic surgeries, Kailyn Lowry decides to back out at the last minute. The mother of three shared the news to her 1.3 million followers on Twitter on Tuesday morning, January 23.

"I won't lie to y'all, I came to Miami for lipo & a boob job. But hours before my surgery I decided I don't want to go through with it," she said, adding that she is planning to hire a nutritionist and begin working out again when she returns home. "When I got home I'll use the money I was gonna spend on surgery for a nutritionist & get back into working out," she continued.

Soon after sharing the news, Kailyn received encouragement from her followers. Her "Teen Mom 2" co-star Chelsea Houska was among them, replying to her tweet with three clapping hands sign emojis. It appeared that her ex-husband Javi Marroquin was very supportive of her decision as well.

"I'm super proud of her for making that decision!" Javi, who shares son Lincon Marshall with the TV personality, told E! News. "I used to tell her all the time to do it naturally. Good for her. The reward will be greater in the end."

Although Kailyn decided against the procedures, she has previously gone under the knife to get work done. In January 2016, Kailyn and castmate Briana DeJesus traveled to Miami for a surgery performed by Dr. Michael Salzhauer a.k.a Dr. Miami.

"Kailyn had a Brazilian butt lift and a tummy tuck," the doctor told PEOPLE at the time. "Briana had the Brazilian butt lift, labiaplasty and breast implant exchange -- she had implants and she wasn't happy with them so she went a bit bigger."

Her decision to go under the knife received backlash online, but Javi defended his then-wife's decision in a message that was posted on Twitter. "Whatever is going to make her happy, then I ride with her," he wrote. "Feel better babe."
