AceShowbiz - If the size of an engagement ring speaks of someone's true love, then Gwyneth Paltrow must be a lucky woman. The "Iron Man" actress, who recently confirmed her engagement to her boyfriend Brad Falchuk, debuted her new accessory at the 29th Annual Producers Guild Awards on Saturday, January 20.
The 45-year-old actress was stunning in a red dress with cape sleeves by Alex Perry, but it was her huge ring that gained a lot of attention. The silver band features a massive blue center stone which appears to be a sapphire.
The Holly Holliday of FOX's musical drama series "Glee" was on hand to present Ryan Murphy with the Norman Lear Achievement Award in Television. She met her now fiance on the set of "Glee", which he co-created with Murphy, in 2014.
The Academy Award-winning actress said in a statement released earlier this month, "We feel incredibly lucky to have come together at this juncture in our lives, when our collective successes and failures can serve as building blocks for a healthy and happy relationship." She also took to Goop's Sex and Love issue to announce her engagement.
Speaking of why she decided to get married again, Gwyneth said, "Personally, at midlife, I have tried to accept how complex romantic love can be. I have decided to give it a go again, not only because I believe I have found the man I was meant to be with, but because I have accepted the soul-stretching, pattern-breaking opportunities that (terrifyingly) are made possible by intimacy."
Gwyneth was previously married to Chris Martin for 11 years. They announced they're "conscious uncoupling" in March 2014, and their divorce was finalized in July 2016. They have two children together, 13-year-old daughter Apple and 11-year-old son Moses. Chris is now rumored in a relationship with "Fifty Shades of Grey" actress Dakota Johnson.
