Oprah Winfrey, Katy Perry and Rob Lowe are the latest celebrities who are affected by the Thomas Fire which continues to rage through the southeastern part of America. It becomes the third largest wildfire in the country's history. Replying to a fan's question on Twitter on December 17, Oprah shared that her dogs as well as her staff had evacuated from her Montecito mansion.
"Evacuated 10 days ago," she tweeted. "Smoke was so bad for breathing. Dogs are in Palo Alto." In a previous tweet, the host of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" shared that her home, which is called "Promised Land", was "so far still standing. Praying for the Promised Land and everyone else's land. Firefighters on the defense."

Meanwhile, Katy shared on her Twitter account that her parents had to evacuate from their home in Santa Barbara County on her mother's birthday. "Woke up to wish my mom a happy 70 birthday to find my brother evacuating them from the insane #ThomasFire in Santa Barbara County that has kicked up once again," so she tweeted. "Praying for the firefighters and first responders that are fighting it back as best as they can."

Rob took to Instagram to give update on the state of his property by sharing a picture of the blaze lurking behind his Santa Barbara home. He captioned it, "Our house aprox 7:30 A.M. today. Pray for Santa Barbara." The Virginia-born actor later posted a photo of himself donning a firefighter suit. "Helping earlier today. You do what you can, but when it's time.. you GO," so he wrote in the caption.
Last week, Rob revealed that he had to evacuate from his home due to the wildfire. Taking to his Twitter account, the actor said, "Praying for my town. Fires closing in. Firefighters making brave stands. Could go either way. Packing to evacuate now."
