Has Jennifer Lawrence found herself a new man after splitting from director Darren Aronofsky? Rumor has it, the Academy Award-winning actress has been dating the "Allied" actor, who is much older than her, just a little over a month after calling it quits with her ex Darren.

"Brad and Jennifer have been enjoying lots of late nights together. There's an intense connection between them," a source told Star magazine, adding that "Brad has had his eyes on Jennifer for years" and he thinks "Jen is perfect." The news outlet went on claiming that the 54-year-old actor had "landed the woman of his dreams" in the 27-year-old beauty.

However, another source has refuted the Jennifer and Brad dating reports. To The Sun, the source close to the actor said, "These are completely false reports."

Jennifer broke up with Darren after dating for over a year. The split was reportedly amicable and they are still friends. A source told PEOPLE that their split was due to their "huge age gap." The source explained, "There is a huge age difference, and they are different people. Each has to look practically to the future."

"Jen has yet to figure out her life and how it will evolve. He has responsibilities in life that she has yet to experience. Each was infatuated with the other," the source continued. "She was attracted to his brilliance and education, and he was in awe of her talent and personality. They have amazing respect for each other given the huge age gap, but other things were not on the same level."

Jennifer was previously in an on-/off-relationship with British actor Nicholas Hoult before dating Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin in 2015.

As for Brad, he was rumored to be romantically involved with his "Allied" co-star Marion Cotillard and Kate Hudson since his divorce from Angelina Jolie, but the reports have been debunked. Kate told Andy Cohen last month about the dating rumor, "That was the craziest rumor of all time."
