AceShowbiz - A slew of celebrities have been affected by the wildfires in Southern California. On Wednesday, December 6, Lea Michele and Paris Hilton revealed that they were forced to evacuate their Los Angeles homes for safety as the flames are still raging.

Lea tweeted, "Praying for everyone in LA...grabbed what I loved most this morning and so grateful to my friends for taking us in.." The former "Glee" star, who has been dating fashion executive Zandy Reich, is now staying with her close pal and celebrity stylist Brad Goreski.

Now in a safer place, Lea told E! News at The Hollywood Reporter's Power 100 Women in Entertainment Breakfast, "It's so crazy because yesterday when there were those duel fires, I had such a strong feeling and then when I woke up this morning-thankfully I woke up early for this event-and when everyone was coming to get me ready, they said we gotta go so I just threw my cat in my bag and I left. [My house is] nearby. I'm someone who doesn't risk anything."

Paris left her house with her pets. "This wild fire in LA is terrifying! My house is now being evacuated to get all of my pets out of there safely," she wrote on Twitter along with a picture of the blaze, before thanking "all the firefighters who are risking their lives to save ours. You are true heroes!"

Chelsea Handler and Lionel Richie were also forced to leave their homes. "Just evacuated my house. It’s like Donald Trump is setting the world on fire. Literally and figuratively. Stay safe everyone. Dark times," the comedienne tweeted.

"Due to the devastating California Wildfires, and helping family evacuate to a safer place, I unfortunately have to cancel my show tonight. I look forward to returning to the stage this weekend and performing for my fans...," Richie updated his Twitter account while informing his fans that his show would go on as scheduled.

Kathy Griffin was also told to evacuate, but chose to stay. "Just got alert on my cell phone to evacuate. After the year I've had, I turn to my boyfriend and said 'eh, I like it here. Given the choice, I say we just burn.' He nods," she jokingly tweeted.

Meanwhile, the likes of Kim Kardashian and Ryan Seacrest urged everyone to stay safe. "I pray everyone in Los Angeles is safe from these fires and THANK YOU to all of the fire fighters working so hard to keep everyone safe!" the reality TV star expressed her concern.

Ryan told his followers, "If you are anywhere near these fires, be prepared to evacuate immediately if you haven't already. You can follow @LAFD, @LAPDHQ, @ReadyLA and @NotifyLA for updates. Be safe everyone."
