AceShowbiz - Kate Middleton looked shining in blue when she arrived alongside husband Prince William at the Royal Variety Performance at the Palladium Theatre in London on Friday, November 24. The expecting Duchess of Cambridge turned heads as she wore a long, gorgeous blue ball gown which added sparkle to her look that night.
The soon-to-be mother of three hinted at her growing baby bump beneath the Jenny Packham gown, which had baby blue pretty embellishment. She further oozed glamor as she arranged her brunette tresses in an elegant wave. The 35-year-old beauty looked effortlessly beautiful as she completed her evening look with a pair of silver pumps.
The Duke of Cambridge, meanwhile, looked dapper in a white shirt. The British royal paired it with a classic black tuxedo and a matching bow tie.
The royal couple's arrival was delayed for nearly an hour following false reports of gunshots, leading police to shut down Oxford Street and surrounding tube stations on the evening. The area was reopened hours later, but words are the incident delayed the alleged announcement of Prince Harry's engagement to actress Meghan Markle.
Among those who attended the annual gala were senior members of the British royal family. Hosted by comedian Miranda Hart, this year's event offered musical performances from artist such as James Blunt, The Killers, Louis Tomlinson, Michael Ball, Paloma Faith, The Script and Seal.
The royal couple announced back in September that they were expecting their third child, who will join 4-year-old Prince George of Cambridge and 2-year-old Princess Charlotte of Cambridge. "Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child," a statement read. "The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news."
Kate and Prince William's royal baby No. 3 is due in April 2018.
