Following his public meltdown on social media, the 'Fast and Furious' star reveals the powerhouse couple has agreed to help him with his legal fees if he keeps his private life off the internet.

AceShowbiz - Days after his recent public meltdown on social media amid his tense custody battle over his daughter Shayla, Tyrese Gibson reveals that Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith gave him $5 million to help with legal fees. The "Fast and Furious" star says the powerhouse couple called him and offered him the money to help keep him "afloat."
Tyrese took to his Instagram account on Sunday, November 5 to say that Will and Jada agreed to help him out if the Roman Pearce depicter kept his private life off the internet. Sharing a series of photos featuring him and Will, Tyrese began in the caption, "When we show UP for each-other there's nothing that can't be done I repeat nothing......"
The 38-year-old actor continued, "My wife kept the news away from me cause I've been on with lawyers all day but our family and our sister Jada-Pinkett Smith and my brother Will Smith just sent us 5 million dollars to help keep us afloat."
"You've guys asked me to get off and stay off the Internet now that my daughters legal fees will be paid I will listen.....," he said, adding, "The Smiths's and their whole family has always shown up for The Gibson's Uncle Will you're an uncle for real..... And I'm saying again if you guys are out there in the atlanta area please vote for @keishabottoms someone my daughter looks up to a LOT!!!! #ShaylaRocks."
This comes after Tyrese thanked his wife Samantha Lee for her support during his contentious battle with ex-wife Norma Mitchell over custody of their 10-year-old daughter Shayla. The actor posted a loving message to Samantha on Instagram Saturday, days after The Blast reported that the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services had closed their investigation in his alleged beating of Shalya and would not be seeking any criminal charges against the actor.
"When your 1st charge get dropped your wife's mind will finally REST!!!!!" so Tyrese captioned a photo of his wife sleeping. "#ShaylaRocks thank you Jesus for sending me a fierce and strong wife who is educated and resilient that was able to stand with me so far though this unexpected storm...... We stress so that our wives and kids can rest."
