AceShowbiz - Beyonce Knowles totally slayed her Lil' Kim-inspired Halloween costumes. The "Single Ladies" hitmaker paid homage to "our original Queen B" over the festive holiday by dressing up in not only one, but five iconic vintage costumes of Kim.
Bey shared each amazing look on her website and Instagram account on Friday, November 3, complete with side-by-side pictures of her muse. "Halloween 2017: Lil' Kim Appreciation. Hip Hop would not be the same without our original Queen B," so the 35-year-old songstress wrote alongside her posts.
The outfits included Kim's sheer outfit for the red carpet at the 1999 Source Hip Hop Music Awards and a blue-haired look from a spread in Manhattan File magazine. Other looks included the "How Many Licks" hitmaker's outfit from her "No Way Out Tour" look from 1997, Missy Elliott's 1997 music video for "The Rain" and one from an issue of Today's Black Woman.
Beyonce's epic Halloween costumes were approved by the "original Queen B," who could not stop gushing over the looks on Twitter. Kim took to the micro-blogging site later on that day to show her love for Beyonce, saying that she's "speechless and honored" by the the "Hallo" hitmaker's epic tribute.
"I'm still recovering from @Beyonce's slayage from Halloween and then this happens...," Kim wrote along with side-by-side photos of Beyonce channeling her in a tied white shirt, red tight pants and Chanel suspenders.
Kim also shared photos of Beyonce looking just like the raptress wearing a blue wig, a cleavage-baring white top and jeans. "Lorrrrrddd, my wig is all the way in China!!! SLAYED," Kim captioned the post. "You did that B!"
"Come all the way thru Bey!!" Kim said in another post. "This is so adorable and it's even cuter because Jay-Z and Biggie were friends and he has his mannerisms down pat," Kim said of Beyonce and husband Jay-Z channeling Kim and Notorious B.I.G., adding an OK emoji.
