A source says that the couple 'didn't imagine' raising their twins, Rumi and Sir, 'would be THIS hard.'

AceShowbiz - Just like any parents with twin babies, Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z are struggling raising their twins, Rumi and Sir. A source close to Beyonce revealed to HollywoodLife.com that the power couple "didn't imagine" raising their twins would be so challenging, and since the babies' arrival, the couple has "hardly slept."

"After raising Blue Ivy for five years, Beyonce really thought she had the whole parenting thing in the bag -- but oh boy was she in for a shock!" the source said. "Everything she thought she knew is out the window when it comes to twins. Beyonce knew it wouldn't be easy, and that two newborns means twice the work, but she really didn't imagine it would be THIS hard."

"Even though they're only four months old, they already have really different personalities -- Sir is super sweet, happy, and calm, while Rumi is a tiny bunch of energy and mischief," the insider explained. "Both Beyonce and Jay have hardly slept since the twins were born, but they finally seem to be getting the babies into a routine, and they feel like things are definitely getting a little easier."

The source went on saying, "Despite having newborn twins though, as well as a five-year-old, Beyonce and Jay are still managing to make time for each other, and their marriage is stronger than ever," adding that "although they're completely exhausted, and it seems like life is now consumed by feedings and dirty diapers, they wouldn't change a thing."

Beyonce and Jay have been married since 2008. They welcomed the twins on June 13 at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in California, with the 35-year-old songstress confirming their date of birth a month later by sharing on Instagram a photo of herself and the new bundle of joys. Rumi, the daughter, was born before Sir, the son.
