The '50 Central' star turns down the half a million dollars offered by the then-Republican presidential candidate because 'that's not good money.'

AceShowbiz - 50 Cent reveals that he was offered half a million dollars by Donald Trump's camp to help him with his presidential campaign in an effort to win over black voters during the 2016 election. The 42-year-old rapper says he turned down the offer.

"Before he got elected, they were having issues with the African American vote," the hip-hop star opens up in an interview on radio station Hot 97. "They wanted to pay me $500,000 as part of the campaign to just make an appearance."

"I was like, 'Nah, that's not good money.' Man, I'm not going to do that. That's not worth it!" he says. He also gives his view on Trump's victory, "His presidency is an accident. If you were a president by accident, you might do some of the things Donald Trump is doing ... I think he was [campaigning] to build his profile for a bigger deal on television, and everything else."

When asked about Kanye West's support for Trump, he says, "He made an appearance at the Trump. Marketing for the Trump. This has nothing to do with what you're saying to me. It's just, come and see me and promote. You can see the president in the lobby."

During the interview, the G-Unit rapper also discusses the possibility of addressing Trump's presidency on his new BET variety show, "50 Central". He teases, "It's so current that you'll probably see something."

Omarosa, a former contestant on Trump's reality TV show "The Apprentice", was eventually picked as Director of African-American Outreach during his presidential campaign. After he won the election, the reality TV star was chosen as a director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison for his administration in the White House.

She said in September 2016, "Every critic, every detractor, will have to bow down to President Trump. It's everyone who's ever doubted Donald, who ever disagreed, who ever challenged him. It is the ultimate revenge to become the most powerful man in the universe."
