While Rebecca and Jack seemingly will be having a rocky relationship in the new season, it will be a lot different for Kate and Toby as they look smitten with each other in one photo.

In addition to the previously-released season 2 photos, "This Is Us" has unveiled an array of photos featuring some characters of the hit NBC series. The photos offer a look at Randall (Sterling K. Brown), Kate (Chrissy Metz), Kevin (Justin Hartley) as well as Toby (Chris Sullivan).

The first photo sees Randall, donning a blue shirt and a pair of jeans, standing with a bowl on his hand in presumably his kitchen. Judging by his outfit, it seems like the photo is taken during a scene where he is discussing adoption with his mother Rebecca (Mandy Moore) in season 2 first look teaser.

Kate is featured in the middle of a phone call, while Kevin is seen looking stern in another photo. Kate, his boyfriend Toby and Kevin later are gathering in what appears to be a cafe.

While things between Rebecca and Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) seemingly will take a dark turn in the upcoming season, it will be a lot different for Kate and Toby. The two are seen having an intimate moment in one of the photos.

In related news, "This Is Us" composer Siddhartha Khosla offers a deeper glimpse into what will likely be coming for the Pearson family in the upcoming season. Khosla reveals to Entertainment Tonight that the sophomore season will feature more "rawness" and "vulnerability."

He also adds that the Pearsons feel "a little more broken, a little more heartbreaking." He goes on saying that he uses a different guitar for the new season to make an appropriate "broken" sound for Jack. "It's very broken-sounding and I'm using it a lot on season two. It's mostly for [Jack]," he explains.

"I feel like it remains honest to the show and honestly, there are some moments that feel more atmospheric and darker in some places this season," he teases. "There are moments that are super dark, but for the most part, it's continuing from where we left off with slight little changes."

"This Is Us" season 2 kicks off on Tuesday, September 26 at 9 P.M. on NBC.
