While some celebrities looked stunning when gracing the red carpet of the 2017 MTV VMAs, some others were simply major fashion faux pas. From a tacky skin-tight pink latex ensemble to over-the-top gowns and alien-inspired outfit, here is the list of some worst-dressed celebrities on the award-giving event's red carpet.
Leading the list is "Anaconda" rapper Nicki Minaj. Clad in a garish pink latex ensemble, the rapstress looked sizzle on the red carpet at the award-giving show held on Sunday night, August 27 in Inglewood, California. The "Bang Bang" rapper put major cleavage on display thanks to some large cut-outs on her skimpy top. Pairing the look with killer high heels, the Young Money femcee, however, gave more than she intended to as she had a dire camel toe situation.
Farrah Abraham, meanwhile, looked like she came to the event straight from a somewhat galactic event. The "Teen Mom" star wore metallic thigh-highs and paired them with white top and pants, which didn't go quite well. The reality TV star also dressed her daughter Sophia in matching alien-inspired outfit, seemingly paying a tribute to the Moon Person at the event.

Cardi B wore a cream unique cut-out jumpsuit which featured weird-looking pointy busts. The "Bodak Yellow" rapper completed the look with red heels. Although the ensemble accentuated her long lengs, it didn't seem to be working for her.

Singer/songwriter Sophie Beem attempted to rock the pajama trend by donning a pajama-esque rainbow ensemble for the event. However, instead of giving a sophisticated vibe, the "Girls Will Be Girls" singer seemed to be completely under-dressed in the ensemble.
YouTube star Rory Kramer dressed in a tacky bright yellow short-sleeved shirt and pants with McDonald's logos printed all over it. He paired them with a white tee, which gave major laid-back feels off his look. In addition, we're not sure whether he realized that he used two different Vans sneakers that night.
As for Jared Leto, he opted for a bizarre multicolored sequined cape, with a white-and-pink floral frilly shirt underneath. He completed his look with big black glasses and sparkly Gucci shoes, while his 30 Seconds to Mars teammates were clad in more normal-looking outfit.

Amber Portwood was trying to go big with her laced gown, but things didn't seem to work for her. While Sophie was deemed to be under-dressed, the "Teen Mom" star joined co-star Farrah on the worst dressed list in her over-the-top plunging mermaid gown.
