The 'Swish Swish' singer says of her public spat with the Scottish DJ, 'Time to put all that behind us.'

AceShowbiz - Katy Perry talked about ending her beef with Calvin Harris. The two were involved in a public spat in 2011 after he bailed on her and then they clashed again while he was dating Taylor Swift, but the duo has since buried the hatchet following his separation from the "Bad Blood" singer.

"Calvin Harris will NOT be joining in on the fun and has CANCELLED last minute," Katy tweeted back in 2011. "Sorry to all who wanted to see me with Katy - her team suddenly moved the goalposts and I was to appear on stage with no production," he defended himself. But Katy fired back, "The goalpost seems to be perfectly fine for New Young Pony Club, Yelle, Robyn, Marina & The Diamonds, to name a few. It's fine, I'm used to you cancelling on me, it’s become ur staple!"

"We'd had little falling outs here and there. We'd had some public Twitter spats ... Time to put all that behind us," Katy said in a recent radio interview with Ryan Seacrest. "We just bumped into each other and he said, 'I think I have a song that you should come check out'."

She recalled, "I was like 'cool' because we had always meant to work together for years and years and years. I came to the studio and he played me a bunch of unfinished but really solid moments for his new record."

"Then he played me this one part for this new song called Feels and I was like, 'Oh yeah'," Katy went on. "This is like my favorite song off the record. I was just down to do it. I've always wanted to collaborate with him for years and years and years."

"Feels" is included in Calvin Harris' fifth studio album "Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1". It features Katy, Pharrell Williams and Big Sean. The DJ also collaborates with Ariana Grande, Snoop Dogg, Frank Ocean, Migos and John Legend in his new album.

Katy also enlists Minaj and Migos for her own new effort "Witness". Meanwhile, she enlists Skip Marley for the lead single "Chained to the Rhythm". In the Minaj-assisted single "Swish Swish", she was rumored to take a jab at Taylor Swift.

Now Taylor is gearing up to release her own album. Rumors run rampant that she might be calling out someone. Her new album "Reputation" is coming out on November 10 and a new single is due Thursday night, August 24.
