The 49-year-old English actor will return to play the iconic spy for the fifth time in the next James Bond movie which is set to be released in 2019.

Daniel Craig has been confirmed to return as James Bond in at least one more movie. The New York Times has reported that "Craig's return is a done deal, according to two people briefed on the matter, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to avoid conflicts with Eon and MGM."
Additionally, the official James Bond Twitter account announced the release date for "Bond 25". "James Bond will return to US cinemas on November 8, 2019 with a traditional earlier release in the UK and the rest of the world," so read the Monday, July 24 post.

The good news broke after months of negotiations and discussions with the 49-year-old English actor, who famously said that he would rather "slash his wrists" than return for another movie when promoting "Spectre". The 2015 movie received mixed reviews and witnessed a drop at the box office after the record-breaking success of its predecessor, "Skyfall".
Meanwhile, it's been recently reported that Cara Delevingne is considered to be the newest Bond Girl. A film studio source told Mirror, "Cara's value really has exploded in a short time in Hollywood. They feel she could play a fierce spy working alongside the main protagonist. The role would not be arm candy, but a kick-a**, strong character."
No director is attached to the 25th James Bond film, but "Dunkirk" helmer Christopher Nolan has been rumored to serve behind the lens. The movie will be written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, the screenwriting duo who have worked on every Bond screenplay since 1999's "The World Is Not Enough".
