Liam Payne has reignited rumors he has tied the knot with Cheryl Cole. In an interview with French website On The Move (via Mirror) to discuss being a "composer," the "Strip That Down" singer repeatedly referred to the 34-year-old songstress as his "wife."

Speaking about working with Pharrell Williams earlier this year, Liam allegedly told the site, "To be honest with you I don't know yet what it is like to write while being a father, I have not passed through this experience."

"I have something that I'm preparing with Timbaland and I was writing with Pharrell when his wife was pregnant along with my wife for that matter," continued the One Direction member. Pharell's wife Helen Lasichanh gave birth to triplets in January, while Cheryl and Liam welcomed Bear in March.

"They had triplets and it's amazing," the 23-year-old singer, who welcomed a son named Bear with Cheryl on March 22, added. "I will change my approach and my way of writing because it is these experiences of life that make you a better composer."

It's unclear when Liam and Cheryl tied the knot. Recently the British heartthrob gushed about how wonderful Cheryl is as a mother. "She's a great mum and I could not have been happier to have her as the mother of my child," he said.

Liam loves seeing how his son is changing every day and thinks being a father is "incredible." He added to French music station Just Music, "I discover him every day and I see his eyes brighten when I talk to him. He always looks at me with great attention and he often tries to imitate me by moving his mouth."

"I'm happy to be a dad, it's an incredible thing," he added. "I give my son as much love as I have received from my parents."
