The 32-year-old singer has shared on social media a video which sees her making fun of Niall's romance attempts as the two ran into each other backstage on 'The Voice Australia'.

AceShowbiz - Katy Perry and Niall Horan bumped into each other when they became guest stars on "The Voice Australia" over the weekend. The two used the occasion to laugh off their romance rumors as they appeared to make fun of their recent interviews about Niall's attempts to flirt with the songstress on Katy's Instagram Story.
In the brief clip, the "Firework" hitmaker teased the One Direction star for being a "stage five clinger," referencing to his rumored romance attempts. The two exchanged hellos before Niall gushed, "Nice to see you again." Katy then playfully said, "You're following me," to which Niall replied with, "Yeah, everywhere."
In a recent interview, Katy claimed that Niall had always been trying to flirt with her. "I see him around all the time," she said of the British heartthrob. "He's always trying to like, get my number, to like, maybe flirt with me, but I'm like, 'I could babysit you. I'm like your mom!' "
Niall then responded to Katy's claim by saying that he only wanted to be her friend. "Katy, please stop being mean to me," he said. "She's just finding any excuse now to just patronize me and go around spreading rumors about me. I just want to be your friend!"
Katy seems to love calling out other artists during her interview. Besides Niall, Katy recently made headlines as she appeared to shade Little Mix during her interview with Sunday Times Culture. When asked whether she felt it necessary for pop stars to be aware of politics, she said, "What? So Little Mix aren't here?" before jokingly adding, "Maybe more than ever I have a point of view and a perspective."
