It looks like Johnny Depp isn't happy with Donald Trump's presidency. The "Alice Through the Looking Glass" actor made the crowd go wild when he jokingly hinted that he wanted to assassinate Trump during his appearance at Glastonbury Festival 2017 on Thursday, June 22.

Johnny visited the festival to talk about his 2004's movie, "The Libertine". However, he began talking about Trump in the middle of the session. "I think [Trump] needs help and there are a lot of wonderful dark, dark places he could go," he said to the audience.

"When was the last time an actor assassinated a president?" Johnny then asked, referring to actor John Wilkes Booth who assassinated Abraham Lincoln in 1865. "I want to clarify. I am not an actor. I lie for a living. However, it has been a while, and maybe it is time," he continued.

Although his controversial joke received positive response from the audience, many others thought that it wasn't a wise thing to say. They took to Twitter to express their disapproval of Johnny's statement. "Johnny Depp wants to assassinate Trump. He's gone crazy. What's wrong with all those celebrities?" @USA_Gunslinger wondered. @StockMonsterUSA added, "Johnny Depp back on Heroin folks! When he's not hitting girls or getting high he's provoking harm to our President!"

Others made some sarcastic jokes about it. "Johnny Depp: 'When was the last time an actor assassinated a president?' Well Depp does have experiencing killing a career and marriage!" @StefanMolyneux tweeted. @TEN_GOP, meanwhile, joked that Johnny might "ruin" his career like Kathy Griffin. "Kathy Griffin: I ruined my career, no one can ever screw up as badly as I did. Reza Aslan: Hold my beer! Johnny Depp: Mind if I join you?" s/he wrote.
