Inspired by "The Italian Job", Prince Harry has major plans underway for his sexy girlfriend Meghan Markle. The prince reportedly shells out major bucks for Meghan's 36th birthday present in August alongside his preparation to propose to the "Suits" actress.
Harry gets the inspiration after watching the thriller, where Michael Caine and his team flee the city in three red, white and blue Mini Coopers. He thinks Mini, which is expected to cost him nearly £31,000 or nearly $35,000, "will be perfect for whizzing through city streets-just like Michael Caine in the 1969 heist movie," Daily Star reports. "Harry is convinced this is a great gift for Meg. She'll be able to nip around London yet stay fairly anonymous," says a royal insider.
According to the site, Posh car dealers Dick Lovett have apparently been asked to line up some motors for Harry to try out. The royal prince is seemingly in favor with an exclusive John Cooper Works Countryman model as it tops his shopping list.
The insider says that since "Meghan is used to driving automatics," Harry will have to "teach her how to use a gearstick." Although whether or not his abilities are up to "The Italian Job" standards remain to be seen, Harry "has his advanced recon driving skills from his time in the Army so he could teach her a thing or two."
Harry is ready to settle down with the 35-year-old actress, as he was reported to have started house-hunting in Norfolk. "He wants a relaxed country pad he can retreat to at weekends to join his wife and kids, entertain his mates and live a normal life," a source said. 17th Century Twyford Hall near Dereham is said to be a frontrunner for Harry, who loves its relaxed, shabby chic splendor.
