Jennifer Lopez seems to be very protective of Alex Rodriguez. The 47-year-old singer reportedly forced Alex to fire his hot female staffers because she didn't want him to be around beautiful women who might steal him from her.

"Jen basically made him fire anyone in his entourage or his staff who were too good-looking," a source told OK!. "He didn't think she was serious and they had a big of an argument over it, but he's relented and is replacing a few key members of his team."

Her controlling behavior allegedly made Alex's close friends upset. "It's not gone down well with his inner circle, who think she's a controlling bully with Alex," the source shared. "There's no doubt Alex needed to be taken down a peg or two, but not like this!"

This wasn't the first time Jennifer was reported to be a "controlling bully." Last month, it was believed that the "Ain't Your Mama" songstress hired a private investigator to spy on the former professional baseball athlete. She was afraid that he would be back to his "player" self because she was "well aware" that Alex cheated on his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis and "doesn't want to be another notch in A-Rod's belt."

Although Jennifer may be too paranoid, it is clear that couple loves each other. They recently spent the weekend having fun together with their children after previously trying to "blend" their families together during an Easter trip to the Dominican Republic.
