Kendall Jenner surely enjoyed her trip to Cannes with her supermodel besties. After cruising around the city in a luxury yacht with sister Kourtney Kardashian, Younes Bendjima and Hailey Baldwin, the 21-year-old reality TV star took time out with friends Bella Hadid, Hailey and Joan Smalls to recreate a very iconic 1990 bathtub photo.
In the photo Kendall shared on her Instagram account, the four beauties piled into a bathtub together for a moody recreation of the iconic '90s snap of Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington and Linda Evangelista. Dressed in their red carpet best, Kendall and Hailey had serious facial expressions, while Bella and Joan were all smiles as they put their long pins on display.
Though it's not an exact recreation of the '90s famous pic, it's pretty clear that Kendall and friends were inspired by the photo, which was taken by fashion and celebrity photographer Roxanne Lowit after the Versace Couture after-party at the Ritz Hotel in Paris at that time. In the photo, Naomi, Christy and Linda were giggling, with Christy holding a glass of champagne.
While the modern models have faced criticism from their predecessors, stars such as Linda and Cindy Crawford have sung praises by calling them the future of the industry. "They can give me advice," Linda told PeopleStyle at a launch event for Erasa XEP-30 last November. "They're so fabulous, they've got the world in their hands. They're so aware and so in control -- they're just so fabulous."
