The photo, which is taken on the filming set in Fuerteventura, features intriguing structures which look like those of planet Tatooine.

AceShowbiz - A new set photo from Han Solo movie has arrived. Obtained by Spanish site Prensa Imperial, the picture, which is taken on the filming set in Fuerteventura, Canary Islands, features intriguing structures which look like those of planet Tatooine in "Star Wars: A New Hope" and "Star Wars: The Phantom Menace".

The translation of the site reads, "The preparations for the upcoming movie production are getting more advanced as you can see from the photo we are showing you of the sets for the Han Solo spin-off."

In "A New Hope", Tatooine was a desert planet where Han conducted his criminal business. Considering that Han Solo movie will chronicle Han's life before he becomes the impressive smuggler, Tatooine may be one of the places where he starts establishing his reputation.

There is also a theory that the photo may refer to Jakku, another desert planet which was featured in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens". Chances are Jakku may also be the place where young Han Solo starts his criminal business, but the truth remains to be seen.

Like blockbuster "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story", Han Solo movie will focus on the event before "Star Wars: A New Hope". Disney CEO Bob Iger has revealed that Han Solo film will see Han's life when he is 18 to 24. The movie will also explain how Han obtains his Millennium Falcon and how he meets Chewbacca.

Alden Ehrenreich will play young Han Solo, who was magnificently portrayed by Harrison Ford in the original "Star Wars" movies and "The Force Awakens". Donald Glover and Joonas Suotamo will play Han Solo's buddies Lando Calrissian and Chewbacca respectively. Woody Harrelson will portray Han's mentor.

Other cast members include Emilia Clarke, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Ian Kenny and Michael K. Williams. The untitled stand-alone Star Wars film II is scheduled to be released in the U.S. on May 25, 2018.
