The 'Legally Blonde' star takes to Instagram to share a photo of herself with co-stars Nicole Kidman and Laura Dern and writes 'working on some new lies' in the caption.

HBO's "Big Little Lies" succeeded to be one of the biggest shows on the network when it debuted back in February. Fans have been waiting for season 2 to be announced and the series' star Reese Witherspoon's recent Instagram post may spark a hope for it to be true.
On Sunday night, May 7, Reese uploaded a photo on Instagram with her fellow "Big Little Lies" co-stars Nicole Kidman and Laura Dern. The three actresses were seen sitting in director's chairs. While nothing looked extraordinary with the photo, the caption successfully caused a ruckus among fans. "Spending #SundayFunday with these ladies... working on some new lies," wrote Reese. She added three monkey emojis which symbolized "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil," sparking a speculation that a sophomore season of "Big Little Lies" is in the works.
However, it turned out that the there of them were simply gathering for a photo shoot. Either way, "Big Little Lies" author Liane Moriarty previously did reveal that a second season was not completely beyond the realms of possibility. "I have started to think about ways this could continue. The producers have asked me to see if I can come up with some ideas. I wouldn't write a new book but perhaps a new story and then we'll see what happens," said Liane.
Based on Liane's 2014 best-selling book of the same name, "Big Little Lies" tells the story of three mothers (Jane, Madeline and Celeste) of kindergartners whose apparently perfect lives unravel to the point of murder. The 7-episode series also stars Shailene Woodley.
