AceShowbiz - New "Spider-Man: Homecoming" footage was debuted at MTV Movie & TV Awards on Sunday, May 7. The footage sees Peter Parker's (Tom Holland) secret identity being discovered by his friend, who is very shocked when learning that Peter is actually the famous Spider-Man.

Before being caught red handed, Peter, dressing as Spidey, is crawling into his bedroom. He breathes a sigh of relief as he lands safely and closes the door, but not for long. When Peter turns around, he finds his pal Ned (Jacob Batallon) sitting on his bed and watching him in shock. "You're the Spider-Man from YouTube," says Ned.

Peter uselessly tries to give a denial, but the beans have been spilled. "Are you in adventure?" Ned asks breathlessly, to which Peter answers, "Yeah, basically." He eventually begs Ned not to tell his aunt.

The clip also offers a look at Zendaya Coleman's character. When Peter has to go for another secret adventure, she asks him, "What are you hiding, Peter?" She later says, "I'm just kidding. I don't care."

"Spider-Man: Homecoming" is set after the events in "Captain America: Civil War". Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine-distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man-but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.

Also starring in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" are Donald Glover, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly and Bokeem Woodbine. The movie will hit U.S. theaters on July 7.
