AceShowbiz - Loretta Lynn was hospitalized on Thursday evening, May 4 after suffering from a stroke at her Hurricane Mills home. A rep for the 85-year-old country legend shared the news Friday, saying that Lynn's currently under medical care.

"American country music legend Loretta Lynn was admitted into a hospital in Nashville last night after she suffered a stroke at her home in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee," read the statement. "She is currently under medical care and is responsive and expected to make a full recovery."

Thus, Lynn's tour schedule has been postponed. As stated by the statement posted on her website, the legendary singer/songwriter, "who just celebrated her 85th birthday, has been advised by her doctors to stay off the road while she is recuperating."

Lynn was expected to perform at the Alabama Theater this weekend and Penn's Peak next week. She has suffered quite a few health issues over the last few years. Back in 2011, she was hospitalized after she was diagnosed with what doctors claimed to be "the beginning stages of pneumonia." In 2013, she was also forced to postpone two shows in Iowa as she was treated for exhaustion.
