Ben Affleck is living his single life after filing for divorce from Jennifer Garner. The "Justice League" star, however, doesn't want to start a relationship anytime soon because he's reportedly taking some time for himself and wants to avoid "anything serious."

"Ben is looking forward to remaining healthy from his recent stint in rehab and is looking forward to the single life," a source tells HollywoodLife.com. "He doesn't want to be tied down in a relationship." Citing the source, the webloid further asserts that Affleck "wants to enjoy being single for a while" as he "gets back to doing some great films both in the directing and acting realm."

Of how he deals with his divorce, the 44-year-old actor takes the process as a chance to renew himself. "He is not taking his divorce as a mid life crisis," the source continues, before adding, "He is taking it as an opportunity to better himself."

Affleck and Garner filed the divorce papers earlier this month without the aid of lawyers. The estranged couple seemed to choose a coordinated legal strategy to end their marriage amicably as they were both seeking joint legal and physical custody of their three children and negotiating a financial settlement.

The pair have remained amicable since announcing their split two years ago. They raise their children together as they want the best for them. The two ex-lovers keep things as normal as possible by spending quality time with the kids. The family recently spent the Easter weekend together in Los Angeles as they attended Easter service as a group.
