Caitlyn Jenner has come to Kendall Jenner's defense after the infamous Pepsi ad backlash. In an interview with SiriusXM, the retired Olympian shared her opinions on what she thought of her model daughter's protest-themed commercial, which has now been pulled by the soft drink company.

"I saw [the commercial] and thought 'That is so cool!' " Caitlyn told Andy Cohen during the interview to promote her new memoir titled "The Secrets of My Life". "It was cute and I guess I didn't see all the things other people saw."

"Kendall said, 'I'm a model, they hired me to go do this,' " Caitlyn shared. "She went down and shot the thing in a few days somewhere down... over in the Orient or something." The 67-year-old reality TV star added, "Then it came out and all hell broke loose... I felt sorry for Kendall."

In the pulled commercial, Kendall left her photo shoot to join a protest march where she gave a can of Pepsi to one of the cops. Many noted that Kendall's act in the ad made it seem like major issues such as police brutality among others could be solved by a can of Pepsi. The soda brand was later accused of appropriating the resistance movement for commercialized purposes.
