T.I. has made a shocking revelation about his whirlwind marriage to Tameka Cottle a.k.a. Tiny. In an interview with Power 105.1 on Tuesday, April 11, the 36-year-old rapper revealed that marriage was a "distraction" to him.

"Marriage is going to distract me and deter me from taking my family onward and upward," he said, before adding that he didn't have time to do "the thoughtful things a husband does." He continued, "It could be seen as selfish, but I have a hard time seeing something as selfish if it helps some many other people."

Because he thought he couldn't be a good husband for Tiny, the "Dead and Gone" rapper tried to position himself as a best friend. "There is no beef [with Tiny]; we good, we straight," he told host Angie Martinez. "Everyone else got the problem. We eat, we talk, we spend time together. She's still one of the best friends I have in the world. I just make a better best friend than a husband."

Tiny filed for divorce from her husband of six years back in December. However, she reportedly called off their divorce and chose to reconcile with the rapper because the pair allegedly still have a lot of love for each other. A report previously suggested Tiny only filed for divorce from Tip as a warning after he got close to another woman. Since the pair tied the knot in 2010, they have some "trust" issues throughout their marriage.
